Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Air Conditioning Technician to join our team at a high-end resort and residential property. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems for both residential and commercial clients. The role will involve working with HVAC systems, diagnosing issues, and providing excellent customer service to ensure guest comfort and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems (including air conditioners, heaters, ventilation systems) for resort guests and residential clients.
- Perform regular preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on air conditioning units.
- Diagnose and repair a wide variety of HVAC system issues, including refrigerant leaks, electrical problems, and thermostat malfunctions.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to service calls in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
- Assist with system upgrades and replacements as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, including parts used and service hours.
- Communicate effectively with guests, residents, and property management regarding issues, timelines, and solutions.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Technician, preferably in a resort or residential setting.
- Certification in HVAC systems (EPA 608 Certification, NATE, etc.).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in challenging conditions (climbing ladders, crawling in tight spaces, etc.).
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with geothermal and smart HVAC systems.
- Knowledge of energy-efficient air conditioning solutions.
- Previous resort or luxury property experience is a plus.
